How To Apply To Our Volunteer Program
Application Process
All applicants will be notified by email as to whether their application has been successful.
(1) Complete the Online Enquiry Form or email us at: volunteers58@gmail.com Upon receipt of the form we will assess your suitability for the program within 24 hours.
(2) Contact You: If you are successful we will then email you a letter of acceptance.
(3) Decision Point: Once you have read through the letter of acceptance and we have answered any questions or concerns that you might have, it is time to pay your US $150 application fee to secure your place on the program. Please note that we will fully refund your application fee if you decide not to go.
(4) Confirmation: Once the application fee is paid, we will contact you to ensure everything is organized. We will also send you the link to our program guide which covers topics such as country information, travel links, visa application process, fundraising ideas and much more!
(5) Communication & Support: Throughout the application process, we are committed to working with you to answer any of your questions or concerns. During your placement we are also available as a form of support to you as a volunteer and will email you while in country to discuss how the program is going.

Program Costs
Covenant Development Foundation works incredibly hard to keep our costs at a minimum. Our low programs fees allow anyone wishing to volunteer overseas the opportunity to do so.Unlike other volunteer organizations, CDF Program fees are based on the actual cost of living in our Ugandan program placements. There are no hidden or markup fees.Compare different Organizations before choosing your volunteer trip; add all the hidden expense, what you see on our price board is what you pay. Program fee covers for your:
Full Board – Safe, clean, comfortable local housing, inspected by our local project coordinator
Meals: 3 meals per day - Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Special meals at request.
Airport pick up - by our CDF project coordinator (At any time, any day!)
Guidance and support of a local project coordinator, 24/7 in case of emergency
Orientation/city briefing on arrival by our CDF project coordinator.
Placement in a quality project, allowing you to maximize your time and efforts in a good cause.
Transfer to project site with our CDF project coordinator. Includes introduction to local staff and community members with whom you will be working with.
Personalized Volunteer Service Award certificate of achievement.
Letter of completion or recommendation from Covenant Development Foundation
Not included: Airfare and travel expenses; passports, entry/customs requirements, all applicable visa fees, airport departure taxes, travel medical insurance, meals outside the program, sightseeing and free-time expenses, items of personal nature (such as laundry, medicine, phone calls, entertainment etc).Note: Also if you are planning to volunteer as a group, you get a discount on your program fee costs.
